How to make dishwashing liquid using hibiscus(gumamela) flower?

Go to Brambleberry.com where you can find soap bases. You could make the base from scratch, but to get the clear stuff - which is milder - is a lot of trouble. Otherwise, the soap base that you make at home is usually made from lye and can be very harsh. Brambleberry soap base is not very expensive, either.

You can also distill your own hibiscus oil, but it takes so long and uses so many flowers that you're better off buying it someplace. There are a lot of websites that sell it.

A word of caution - adding oils to any soap base will thin it. There are several ways to thicken it, with chemicals or salt, but you have to be careful to follow instructions extactly because you can end up changing the PH of the product. Which could be A Bad Thing.

Good luck! Check out Brambleberry.com - I've been doing business with them for seven years or so and I love them.
