Do hibiscuses have thorns?

hibiscus have no thorns. I've been in the flower business all my life and I lived in Hawaii where there are hibiscus all over the place. No thorns but the flowers are beautiful.
Do hibiscuses have thorns?
No.
Reply:hibiscuses don't have thorns but have beautiful colors of flowers. And they are also called rosemallow.

Actually, some hibiscus do have thorns. They are inconspicuous, but still, they are there. One particular hibiscus that has thorns is the False roselle. There is also a pink variety from australia with fuzzy leaves that has very small thorns. They rarely prick you because they are so small.
