I just heard that pink fades faster, is that true?

I wanted to get a pink hibiscus flower on my foot. Like this shade of pink:

And it will fade into either hot pink, or lilac (i'm not sure yet)- which do you think would look better?

Anyways, on a previous question of mine someone told me that pink fades easily, is this true? Are there any shades of pink that dont fade easily? or is it just pink in general??

i have a pink flower on my ankle, about 2 1/2 inches big. it is still bright pink, after 3 years. i think it really depends if you take care of your tattoo properly or not
Reply:It depends on how well you take care of your skin like putting ointment on as directed, how much sun exposure you are getting and how well the artist is at applying color. I've had my tattoo for 9 years and it's blue and it really hasn't faded much, I just put lotion/sunscreen on it just about everyday.
Reply:i had a really hot bright pink and its faded some..not as dark as it used to be. but everyone is different.

edit: i never went in the sun with it and it has a lot of color on it but it seems the pink faded a lot more than any of the other colors
Reply:I just got a bright pink tattoo. All tattoos fade over time. Touch-ups are usually cheap (like $5). Get whatever color you like. I did!!
Reply:I suggest you call up any tattoo professional, I wouldn't trust anything like that to something you find out online.
Reply:why get a tattoo? unless its fake, i had a spray on one once, it'd lk really nice on your foot, but ye light pink fades faster
