Help I'm losing my plants!?

Over the summer I was given three Hibiscus just beautiful flowers.I put them in larger pots, pruned %26amp; moved them inside for winter. One is growing well lots of new growth, one the leaves are turning yellow but is also showing lots of new growth %26amp; the other is losing It's leaves with almost no new growth at all. I feed them once a month i water once a week %26amp; mist them daily. Can anyone help me save my plants?
Help I'm losing my plants!?
I live in south Texas where hibiscus are everywhere. They always lose their leaves in the winter (especially without the humidity and warmth). Mine are on my front covered porch and are losing theirs....if you are going to overwinter them in the house, try putting some clear poly over the top (creating a little tent for each).....don't worry, they can lose all their leaves and come back beautifully when the weather gets warm outside....you really are not interested in new growth through the winter months inside....don't worry....they will make it...
Reply:Hybiscus are normally outdoor plants so they will need as much bright light as you can get them, be careful of sunburn.

Because the plants are not growing as much in winter, cut back on your feeding and resume later in the spring. If it's very dry you can try a humidifyer or put a plastic tray with stones in it under the plant and add water, this will humidify the air right around the plant. Be careful that the bottom of the pot is not sitting in the water.

If the three plants are of different species, the one not showing new growth might be fine, it may just have a different growing habit.

The best thing you can do for advice is go to your local garden center, preferably with the name or at least a leaf and description of the flower on the plants and ask them what to do. The above doesn't have enough detail to get a really good idea of your climate conditions or what kind of hybiscus these are.

In my area, some species of hybiscus lose thier leaves in winter and some do not.
Reply:the turning yellow is not good. Hibiscus are very sensitive tropical plants try a house plant fertilizer like Peters is excellent do not over water if your house is dry use a humidifier.
Reply:My sister has "grow lamps" for her plants. She has them everywhere! Her plants do great. Try to find a lamp made for plants. Regular house lamps do not work she said. I got a tropical one early summer last year and it started to die too, so I gave it to her and she says its doing great already! Try that.
Reply:With hibiscus-they like sunshine and like to stay a little warm. I had one and if you didnt put it in the sunshine it started to die, put it in the sun and it perked up with in a day or two. Try that.
