Size question?

I would like to get a small tattoo on the inside of my wrist, maybe about the size of a quarter. I have tiny wrists and don't want anything too big. I've thought about getting a hibiscus flower, but would it be possible to get that much detail in something so small? Because of the size of my wrists, I don't want to get it done if it has to be too big. What do you think?
Size question?
a hibiscus the size of a quarter would not look very good at all and would only look worse over time. why not get it somewhere else where you can get a good tattoo that is the size it needs to be? i understand wanting a small tattoo on the wrist but you have to get something that is supposed to be small. you can't just take any design and shrink it.
Reply:If you're looking to get a tattoo with great detail, you won't be able to get it as small as a quarter. Being that you want a hibiscus and you want it to have details. Is there any other location on your body that you want a hibiscus tattoo?
Reply:Don't listen to the negetive people telling you about when you are 90 what your body will look like. So many people are getting tattoos now that if you do not have an old tattoo when you are that old you will be the weird one. Make sure you pick it out for you and don't let someone talk you into something. If you lay a quarter on a table and look at it you should get an idea of how much detail could be drawn on something that small. Just deside if you want a lot of detail it may have to be bigger or if you want it plain it can be small. Lots of places to put tatts.
Reply:That small of a tattoo wouldn't be good. If you want the detail good over time that small of a tattoo is going to look like a blur. I suggest you get it on a bigger area so you can get the detail you want without a blur in the next 10 years.
Reply:maybe you should get a tattoo of something that doesnt have much detail... or u could find a different place with more area to get the tattoo. i guess you could go and talk to somebody at a body shop and see what they think about the idea- they might be able to fit it on there so you might as well check with them.
Reply:you will have to go slightley bigger than a quater because if not it will look like one of them kids lolly pop tats what i mean by that is no detail can be fitted into such a small tat

dont worry about the pain i know thats your reall question i smelt the fear

dont worry tell the artist its your first tat and he will go easy on you

anyway tats dont hurt that much or people like me wouldent be covered
Reply:I watch Miami Ink alot, So after so many eps, i notice when someone come in to do a very small tattoo, they will not do it.Cause if u want to have a very small detail tattoo with full color it will look very nice for the first few years. But After that it will look like a very big mole. Cause as we get older our skin will not be as firm and smooth as now. That is what they said. Maybe u can do on your forearm.? But the wrist is a very pretty place to have a tattoo...! Hope this will help..
Reply:over time the tat will fade...but you can get much detail in a tat...the size of a quarter though...not alot of detail there...
Reply:sexylilreadhead... needs to get out of the tattoo section since she obviously knows nothing about them. I wont care what my tats look like at 90, cause my whole body will look like $hit anyway, and looks will be the last thing on my mind.

but yeah, it'll be hard to fit a lot of detail on the wrists.
Reply:A hibiscus quarter size tattoo would be hard to do but what a sweet idea. I've always thought flowers looked really awesome on the back of a neck or shoulder blade, there you would be able to get the detail you want. Awesome idea though.
Reply:that spot is going to hurt!
Reply:Simply

Gettttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt it .
Reply:dont get a tatoo. ul regret it no matter wat size it is when your 90 years old and have big, baggy, wrinkly tatoo skin w/ a habiscus.
Reply:Don't get a tattoo unless its someplace private...like near the pubic area...........
