Should i chance below 60 temps?

last i checked it was 57 outside. plenty of sun. and i want my hibiscus to get the sun. but a little worried about it being outside. i thought i heard somewhere this plant don't like 55 or below. its potted so i can keep it inside during the winter and put it out during the summer. also i'm trying to sprout apple seeds. and i keep them in the sun as much as possible inside. and keep them moist. would either of them be safe outside?
Should i chance below 60 temps?
I would wait until temperatures are more stable - perhaps another month and then put it outside in partial sun for the summer.

Hibiscus are sensitive to temperature changes and it might lose its leaves if suddenly put out into the cold.
