i've had my hibiscus plant for a year. it lived through a Michigan winter by staying inside my house. its been in the upper 70s to 90s lately. if its not really windy i'll leave it outside all day. i know these plants like hot temps. its growing new leaves like crazy. i also recently put it into a bigger pot and it seems to be handling the transfer well. i'm happy its still living but i want to see flowers. what can i do to help it bloom? i water it when its needed and i give it Miracle Gro plant food.
What can i do to help my hibiscus start blooming?
it sound like you are doing fine i live in Texas and my plants this year took a little longer to take off and bloom. watering and the plant food is good just don't over do it. transplanting into a new pot as you know may affect it but as long as the core stays green and you watch it daily as it seems you are doing things fine. try this link for information I'm not sure how the climate differs from where you are but im in Texas central and my hibiscus has not bloomed either but its really taking off and i leave it under my patio half and half light. well hope this helps.
Reply:Try watering it just a little bit less, and try some Bloom Booster from Miracle Gro.
