What flowers like coffee grounds?
roses like coffee(i grow roses) but here's some tips for using coffee:

There are a number of ways to use up those old coffee grounds, right outside your door.

Difficulty: Easy

Time Required: n/a

Here's How:

Great for compost. Coffee grounds add great texture and acidity to your compost. Tea bags work well too.

Fertilizer. If you don't have a compost bin or pile, you can just add some grounds directly to the soil around your flowers for some extra fertilizer.

Control some bugs. Supposedly, ants hate coffee. So spread your old grounds around where you have ant problems.
Reply:Leftover coffee and coffee grounds change the pH factor in the soil-which causes acidity. Plants like azaleas, rhodedendrons, blueberries, roses, etc. benefit from them.
Reply:actually a lot of them do

i know roses like them

Reply:Hydrangea, roses, lilies, clematis. I use coffee grounds for all flowering plants.
Reply:Hydrangea!! It makes there color a vivid blue, because of the acid
Reply:roses and many others. egg shells also with the grounds make a great fertilizer.
Reply:Roses like acidic soil, so I guess coffee grounds would work for them.
