I tested some made from the KLASS Aguas Frescas mix (using standard proportions and got a 1-14 test strip reading of between 2 and 3. The ingredients are as follows (in order): sugar fumaric acid, artificial flavor, silicon dioxide, artificial colors, dried hibiscus extract, ascorbic acid (vitamin c), and sucralose (generic splenda). I know that this is a perversion of the real stuff, but is it hurting my esophagus to drink the stuff, or was my reading wrong.
What is the normal pH of agua de jamaica (hibiscus tea)?
In Soil: pH-5.5 to 6.5. I'm thinking you are too acid, thus the burn you experience.
