Hardy Hibiscus--Seed Pod and Frost?

A hardy hibiscus (not sure of type) has a very large green seed pod. I know you are normally supposed to wait until the seed pod dries on the plant to harvest seeds, but we had a pretty hard frost last night. This hibiscus did have some leaves turn brown, but the seed pod appears undamaged--still a healthy green.

Should I pull the seed pod off and let it dry inside, or should I give it the chance to posssibly grown for another week?

This is related to my other question where I am unable to identify this hibiscus type.

You can pull the pod as soon as it looks fully ripe. Usually, it will start turning brown, then you can pull it and let it dry inside.
Reply:Let it go for a weeek or 2. It'll be ok. I pulled mine in last night. thank goodness
Reply:No leave it alone ! Any more frost ? Water it ,befor the sun lite hits it !!!! Don't ask why ,just do it !
