When do Hibiscus Flower??

What time of year do Hibiscus flower and for how long???
When do Hibiscus Flower??
in a tropical climate such as the keys and hawaii. they will bloom all year.

in areas such as southern florida and southern california they may stop blooming during the coldest of months, or when temps go in the low mid 70s

central florida and some of southern california will lose a few leaves in the winter, and the hibiscus will bloom in late spring, all summer, fall, and most of winter.

in northern florida and central shore of california as well as the gulf coast. chances for survival are slimer and will survive a mild or cool winter, but not a severe one. blooms here early summer to late fall maybe early winter.

a temperate or perennial hibiscus is cold hardy. this hibiscus can survive to -25 fahrenheit, but arent as attractive as a tropical hibiscus. these bloom from july to september, some till frost.
Reply:July and august and sometypes into mid sept. They flower for one month.

Far better, but similiar is the lavateras as they come into leaf much sooner and flower for a long time.Lavatera rosea is very close to the normal pink hibiscus
